I just finished reading Finding Tranquility Base... I couldn't put it down!! I love the descriptive writing that makes the reader feel like they are truly a part of the experience, not merely reading about it. I love all the twists! Just when you think that had to be the last one, BAM- another bend in the road. The book leads the reader gently through a myriad of emotions... from happy to sad, from meloncholy to peace. Will Riley ever find her Tranquility Base? You'll just have to read it and find out!I can't wait to see what Ms. Rebhan has in store for future books!

This novel has a lot of twists and turns with a surprise or two at every curve. Very descripive and an easy read.
Excellent reading. Just when you think you've got it figured out, there's another twist or turn. Am looking forward to a sequel. Keep'm coming!!
I couldn't put it down. Very good read and it kept me guessing...and wasn't disappointing. Finding Tranquility Base is funny, sad and very touching. It reminds us that appearances can be very deceiving and secrets can only be hidden for so long.
I thought Finding Tranquility Base was a fast paced book with many twists that made me not want to put it down. For a first attempt, Janet Rebhan nailed it ! The way this author painted the picture I could almost see it myself ! I can't wait to see nor do I know what to expect when she does her next one !
Finding Tranquility Base is an enjoyable book to read; anyone who grew up in the 60's and 70's will appreciate this story.
In Rebhan's first novel, she accomplishes mystery and intrigue by creating realistic troubled relationships with literary prowess. Riley's coming-of-age story feels possible, which is what keeps us engaged. A cleverly weaved plot eludes the truth, only to surprise us at the end. In a world wrought with violence, it is truly inspiring to contemplate Rebhan's complex metaphor of Tranquility. I love the title, and I remember that first moon landing very well. I was 9 years old. Well done!
A friend recommended this story to me and I read it in one day. It is captivating. The plot is complex and keeps moving out ahead of you. East Texas becomes even more inviting. You'll be glad you spent the time with this treasure.
